COVID-19 Safety Info

COVID-19

ALL PATIENTS MUST WEAR A MASK BEFORE ENTERING THE OFFICE.
Brush and floss well prior to your appointments
If you have flu like symptoms please call us and reschedule your visit for 3 weeks later.
Please practice social distancing and stay 6 feet apart from other patients.

We understand that it is a very difficult time for all and we want you to
know that our office is taking the Coronavirus Pandemic very seriously.

- Your safety is our top priority. We have implemented protocols to reduce the risk to our patients and staff, including wearing masks and gloves and
sanitizing all surfaces regularly throughout the day.

- It is our goal to keep providing you with important dental care services during this time without interruption.

- All equipment is being wiped down with high efficient disinfectant and antibacterial before using it on every patient.

- In order to maintain and improve the well-being of our patients and staff we have adopted the following measures in our office:

- We have invested in 6 HEPA 13 Air Purifier Systems with antibacterial, anti-allergenic and antiviral properties to improve air quality throughout the office.

- We are implementing the use of a Fogging Disinfecting machine around our office. Our solution is 100% safe for humans, chemical free, non toxic, and all natural.

- We have installed 6 Ultra Violet lamps  that kill up to 99% of germs and viruses within the office.

- We have Hand Sanitizer, Hand Soap, and Paper Towels Dispensers that are operated by sensors throughout our office for no-contact disinfecting. Please use the hand sanitizers available in the office or wash your hands in our bathroom (more effective) upon arriving.

- Before entering our office we will be using our Digital Forehead Thermometer Sensor to check your temperature to ensure safe treatment for you and our staff.

- We are asking all of our patients to take appropriate steps to reduce the risk of spread. Please arrive to the appointment alone.
Should you require
an escort, have them wait for you in the lobby whenever possible. If you are a minor please only have one legal guardian attend the appointment. No other family members or siblings that do not have an appointment should be coming in.

- All patients will be required to rinse with hydrogen peroxide before starting any dental procedures in our office.

- We are closely following the prevention recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Florida Department of Public Health,

and the World Health Organization (WHO). As the circumstances with COVID-19 are constantly evolving, we will make any appropriate changes and communicate updates as needed.

Wishing you all the best, We are here for you, as always
Please give us a call at (305) 670-0197 if you need any further assistance. We look forward to seeing you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Sandra C. Silva, D.M.D., P.A.
